Your userpage is a space you can edit and show others who you are, your likes and dislikes, and so forth. Every registered user has a userpage, and there is a lot of liberty on what one can place on it. This guide will help you understand and hopefully inspire you on what you can add to your userpage, as well as warn about what cannot be placed on there. Note that not all the ideas on this page have to be there.

Limits on Userpage Content

Diversity is admired on the Square Enix Wiki, and we like viewing other people's various opinions and styles on user pages, which truly are personal profiles for each user. However, there are limits to what is allowed on a user page.

• In accordance with the current Media policy, non-Square Enix-related images cannot be hosted on-site, even for userpages. That is, any images not officially from Square Enix or for use on regular articles cannot be uploaded directly to the wiki. They can definitely be used in your userpage, but these must be hosted elsewhere, like Imgur, and linked back here.
• Userpages cannot be used to house a personal website, journal, or blog. Consider other websites, including Reddit, Fanon Wikis, or other fansites that allow that to be posted.
• Userpages cannot be used to have prohibited content, such as content that violates copyright laws, is pornographic, includes excessive advertising, promotes illegal activities, or is hate speech or incites such hate.

On the right, you see a personal infobox. It is a quick and easy way for you to display the most essential information about yourself to other users. Feel free to add different colors, other types of information, and whatever you'd like. It functions just like a table, simply off-center. As you become more familiar with wiki markup, you may choose to make it more complicated, such as adding background colors, borders, and more.

Posting notices

If you need to place a notice on your userpage to inform others of something - say, your absence, a celebration or whatever it may be, try making use of the following code:

Be sure to place this code on the top of your userpage if you wish to notify other users of anything.
