Over the course of the series, there have been several protagonists. [[Sora]] is the series protagonist, despite being playable in only four games (five if you count ''358/2 Days''). Kingdom Hearts is a video game series developed and published by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney Interactive Studios. It's directed by long-time character designer Tetsuya Nomura. The series centers around Sora and his search for his friends and encounters with Disney, Final Fantasy, and The World Ends With You characters across various worlds.
