Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is an action-role playing handheld game developed and published by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney Interactive Studios, and the seventh title in the Kingdom Hearts series. It follows Sora and Riku as they journey into the Realm of Sleep as part of the Mark of Mastery examination.
The title is the first and only title in the series to be released on the Nintendo 3DS. It was released in Japan on March 29, 2012, in North America on July 31, 2012, in Europe on July 20, 2012, and in Australia on July 26, 2012, making it the only title in the series to release in Europe and Australia before releasing in North America.
