Romancing SaGa 3 is the third title of the Romancing sub-series of the SaGa franchise and the sixth entry overall.
A return to form after the highly ambitious predecessor, the third romance entails the prophecy of a child who may bring salvation or the apocalypse and the return of a nemesis star. Eight main characters seek out this child for their own motivations, and are set into conflict with seven powerful demons who seek to corrupt the youth to end the world.

However, a sole child has survived the Rise of Morastrum each time — this life came to be known as the Child of Destiny.
