The game was released for the Nintendo DS on July 27, 2007, with international releases the following April. A mobile port for iOS and Android, developed by h.a.n.d., was released in 2012 under the title The World Ends with You: Solo Remix, with a Nintendo Switch port releasing in 2018 as The World Ends with You: Final Remix.
