has more information on this company.

M2 is a software preservation company, dedicated to archiving classic games and future-proofing titles for ease of porting. The company is most famous for its lengthy history with SEGA, managing the SEGA Ages: 2500 series of Playstation 2 games as well as the SEGA 3D series of enhanced ports for the Nintendo 3DS. The company has great knowledge of assembly language, which is why Square Enix hired the studio to manage the porting of Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Trials of Mana to the Nintendo Switch for the Collection of Mana anniversary package. Though unconfirmed, it is speculated that M2 also assisted with the expansion of the Trials of Mana ROM from 4MB to 6MB to allow the variable-width font that localization required. Recently, the company has supervised the porting of software for SEGA's Genesis Mini and Konami's TurboGrafx-16 Mini.
