Vaan (ヴァン in Japanese) was a major protagonist in Final Fantasy XII. Despite being the controlled character, and the game being set from his point of view, Vaan was not the main protagonist. He was voiced by Bobby Edner in the English version. In the Japanese version, Vaan was voiced by Kouhei Takeda, but in a later game, his voice was provided by Kenshō Ono
